Courtesy Enrollment for a CAP Member to Attend the 2015 NECCC Summer Conference

Every year NECCC allows each member club to select one member to attend the next NECCC Summer Conference with a free registration fee. CAP is a member of NECCC allowing us to select one of our members to receive this complementary registration fee. The important requirements to be selected are:

  • The person selected must be a member of CAP with his/her dues paid.
  • The person selected must be as least 18 years old as of July 1, 2015.
  • The person selected must have never attended the NECCC Summer Conference.

CAP must submit its selection to NECCC by March 15, 2015, an extension of the usual March first deadline. Many clubs have been unable to meet due to the unusual Winter weather this year. Any CAP member who is interested in being considered for this courtesy enrollment should contact Antoinette Gombeda (agombeda@optonline.net) before March 10, 2015. Send Antoinette your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. If more than one person is interested, Antoinette will select the recipient by drawing a name from a hat.

Remember, you must send your name and information to Antoinette Gombeda. She will take care of sending the required information to NECCC by the March 15, 2015, deadline. Also, remember that the courtesy enrollment is only for the registration fee; the lucky CAP member will still be responsible for his/her own transportation, housing, and meal expenses.

Greater Lynn International

As many CAP members know, the Greater Lynn Photographic Association hosts an international salon each spring. This year, its 38th, will be the last. All CAP members are urged to consider entering. The deadline has been extended to February 22, 2015.

If you decide to enter, be sure to select Connecticut Association of Photographers from the drop down shown below surrounded by red, not "individual."
This way CAP will be credited for your entry and will be in the competition for a club award. If you have already entered we are working with the Greater Lynn folks to get you credited to our club.
