CAP Members Score in Greater Lynn International Exhibition

Members of the Connecticut Association of Photographers who entered the Greater Lynn International Salon did very well. As a club CAP scored second with 342 points compared to 343 points for the Merrimack Valley Camera Club. The third place club was Gateway Camera Club with 333 points. The club score is the sum of the scores received by the 7 highest scoring photographers who entered from the club. Twenty eight clubs competed for the club award including many from outside the United States such as China, Iran, Australia, England, Denmark, Wales, Japan, and India. CAP will receive a $200 prize for its second place finish.

Four members of the club won special awards in the competition:

  • Catherine Thiem won an Honor Award;
  • Tom Cuchara won an Honor Award;
  • Matthew Collen won the Best Child Medal; and
  • Lisa Cuchara won the Best Still Life Medal and an Honor Award.

Congratulations to our members who won these special awards.
